This is a near replica of a beach bar in the Brish Virgin Islands. The original beach bar was built in 1985 (not by us) and was blown away by hurricane Irma in late 2017. The design shown here is hurricane rated. This unit can also be supplied with a full thatch roof (lower part synthetic (*), steeper part natural thatch), or with a full Bali style terracotta roof decking. (*) The lower part of the main roof and the roof below the railing has a pitch of 30 degrees, which is too low for a natural thatch roof resulting in leaking and early decomposition of the thatch. |
