What is included in our wooden prefab gazebo kit

 ♦ Floor main and sub beams, columns, pedestals, floors, roof decking, interior bamboo matting roof cladding (in sight), stainless steel fixtures, railing (optional), 2-step stair, hurricane anchors for the timber members (if required), wood protection.
 ♦ Full set of design drawings. 
 ♦ 3-D assembly manual + detailed assembly drawings.
 ♦ Detailed drawings showing the locations for the shallow foundation footings.
 ♦ Free of charge advice during the re-assembly should this be necessary. 


Optional features at additional costs (variation order)

 ♦ Any other type of wood than mentioned as per our standard material options
 ♦ Simpson foundation strips (1). 
 ♦ Bali style carvings. 
 ♦ Structural calculation (2). 
 ♦ Involvement of a local engineer or architect to rubber stamp the plans. 
 ♦ Additional drawings, not part of our standard package. 
 ♦ Hardware other than used for our standard package. 
 ♦ Structural and/or architectural changes and/or additions.
 ♦ Re-assembly at client's end 
  All of our designs are based on the use of shallow concrete foundation footings. We can provide a foundation advice in the event that such shallow footings is not an option. 

 

(1) We do not supply Simpson strips and its fixing bolts. We will advise on the type and the required volume. Client may purchase these strips and install them following our assembly instructions.
(2) A static structural calculation can be prepared when a County or Building Authority requires so. The calculation will include an analysis for hurricane wind force and/or earthquake force, if applicable for that region. The structural calculation will be based on the latest USA Building Codes (IBC 2009, International Building code and the IRC 2009, the  International Residential Code). 
(3) To this end the client needs to submit a sketch or drawing showing the locations of sockets, switches, water and sewer tap-ins.

On November 7, 2013 typhoon Haiyan, known as typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines, was the second deadliest on record that hit the archipelago killing over 4,000 peoiple which we deeply regret. The system's one-minute sustained winds reached to 315 km/h (196 mph), unofficially making Haiyan the 4th most intense tropical cyclone ever observed and made it the strongest tropical cyclone to make landfall on record. Our engineering department designs our units in cyclone areas to cyclone rating and have added a 10% additional wind force to the general cyclone design codes to cope with global warming, introducing stronger cyclones in the future. Our unit A-2 sustained typhoon Haiyan and survived. This is what the owner wrote us:
"There were minor damages and the roof remained fully in tact. Your clients should know though that this house was properly designed and built with typhoons in mind. Good job Prefabworld Bali International".
