The smallest Lumbung models (10 m2  to 15 m2 or 108 sqft to 161 sqft)

Dear Visitor,

Below you will find our smallest types of Lumbungs. A Lumbung is locally called "Jineng" and is in fact based on the designs of the rice barns from the early days. The Balinese stored their harvested rice in these barns to dry. Later the barns became small huts to shelter the locals who had no place to stay. In the 80's a number or resorts started to utilzize existing barns to harbor their guests, whereas in the early 90's  the bars wer modified into larger ans more spaceous unist which are still built nowadays If you find a model of your choice you may click on the download icon, whereupon you will be navigated to the page comprising your choice. The model pages will show the side elevations of the unit, floor plans which can be enlarged on-line and a general description regarding bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, total sided areas, deck areas and building spaces required. The following codes are used:

S = sided area,

D= deck area,

B = balcony area

[K] refers to the possibility that a kitchen or kitchenette can be included,

Prefab World Bali

Reviews from Prefab World Bali

"I contacted Prefabworld Bali International while looking for a suitable contractor to design and build a Joglo style structure above the existing flat roof of our house in Canggu. Bali. The builder we had used for the house had not installed the sealing membrane properly and we were plagued by leaks and had decided to build the additional structure to help keep the water out and give us some really nice additional space on top of the house looking at over the rice fields. "

I was very concerned about getting a proper design that was both strong enough to withstand the occasional high winds and not degrade the integrity our house – basically we did not want the Joglo to end up in the rice field and leave a big hole in the roof where it had been attached!

Prefabworld Bali International was extremely professional in every aspect – they managed to design a structure that was strong, did what we wanted and looked good.

The installation went as planned and we are completely satisfied with the end result.

I would definitely use Prefabworld Bali International again!
