Our designs, pictures and text shown on our web site and are in fact blocked for copying, however, it is still possible to make copies via the back door (if one knows how to do this). We spent thousands of hours to create this web site as to offer a special service to our visitors. However, the set back is that we are frequently targeted by visitors, competitors and newcomers in the wooden prefab world who ruthlessly copy our copyrighted drawings and/or pictures without our permission and use them for own benefit or show them on their own web sites, claiming to be their designs and/or that many of our models are copied by our competitors or visitors who need a free design as to avoid engaging a costly architect. Despite our strict anti-copying regime with stern repercussions in place these copycats keep coming and going. In order to tackle this problem and protect our work we had no alternative other than to add a special designed algorithm on our server which detects suspicious surfing behavior, like a frequent return by a certain visitor who may try to make copies from our site. The algorithm sparks an alert and shows the IP address of the visitor to us. We are able to block this IP address, which makes a further log on to our web site impossible. It might be possible that the same IP address is owned by a legitimate visitor. In such case the visitor will be requested to send us an e-mail. If the instructions in this e-mail are followed up we will unblock the IP address. We apologize for this inconvenience, however, being a professional designer and builder we cannot give in on notorious parasitair behaviour by visitors or companies who lack the talent to design by themselves.
For companies copying us we will issue a cease and desist letter with a copy to Google and other major search engines, When proven that our text and/or pictures appeared first on the internet the violating web site will be removed from the search engines and its domain name blacklisted..
