Simple straight stainless or galvanised steel rod anchors for the foundation will be supplied by us. We will not supply Simpson anchors which are used in abundance in the USA and some other countries.
Simpson © anchors is a patented anchor system used in foundations and structures (hurricane straps), and is an almost mandatory requirement for wooden prefab buildings for the USA. Since the foundation is not part of our responsibility we do not provide the Simpson foundation straps, nor do we provide Simpson hurricane straps (we apply our own system). For foundations, however, we will provide information about the the type of Simpson anchor to be used, which may be purchased by the client.
