Building permit for the Prefab Bali houses manufactured by Prefabworld Bali international

In order to verify in advance whether or not our wooden prefab units will be eligible for a building permit at your end we may encourage you to contact your local Building Authority as to find out whether such an imported wooden prefab house shall comply with the local building codes and requirements and/or comply with special import regulations. If such is indeed the case you may need to ask the following questions.

 1. Would it be acceptable if the wooden prefab house complies with the IBC 2018 (USA International Building Code 2018).
If the answer is affirmative we will be able to supply, however, if the answer is negative whereas the house shall comply with the local building codes we may not be able to supply.
 2. Are there restrictions to the use of particular hardwoods originated from Indonesia.
If the answer is yes you need to find out which wood species are prohibited.
 3. Shall the wood be FSC Certified.
If the answer is yes, you will not be able to import any wooden house from Indonesia, since not one supplier in Indonesia has an FSC Certificate in place with a chain of custody to the first supplier; the felling concession.

Reviews from Prefab World Bali

"I contacted Prefabworld Bali International while looking for a suitable contractor to design and build a Joglo style structure above the existing flat roof of our house in Canggu. Bali. The builder we had used for the house had not installed the sealing membrane properly and we were plagued by leaks and had decided to build the additional structure to help keep the water out and give us some really nice additional space on top of the house looking at over the rice fields. "

I was very concerned about getting a proper design that was both strong enough to withstand the occasional high winds and not degrade the integrity our house – basically we did not want the Joglo to end up in the rice field and leave a big hole in the roof where it had been attached!

Prefabworld Bali International was extremely professional in every aspect – they managed to design a structure that was strong, did what we wanted and looked good.

The installation went as planned and we are completely satisfied with the end result.

I would definitely use Prefabworld Bali International again!
